Ok, I lied when I said when I was so done with 2006. A few weeks back I voted in the first Jackin Pop Critics Poll curated by Michaelangelo Matos for Idolator.
My top five of The Black Angels, 120 Days, The Thermals, The Black Keys, and Film School placed 80, 240, 27, 222, and 354 respectively. So either I’m fiercely independent and unswayed by critical opinion, or totally f*ckin clueless. I think I’ll stick with fiercely independent and unswayed by critical opinion.
