David Vandervelde has recently released a video for “Jacket” from his debut disc, The Moonstation House Band. It’s a little surreal, and a little creepy, with Vandervelde walking through magic doors trying to track down a lost love, and collecting her scattered belongings along the way. Yet, in spite of the weird factor, it compliments the song quite well.

David Vandervelde has a series of Midwest and East Coast dates scheduled during the next couple weeks, then he jets off to England with labelmate Richard Swift. He’ll also be performing at the Secretly Canadian showcase during SXSW. Full tour dates can be found at Secretly Canadian.
