Friday night at Parish Hall, Lou Muenz has a photo opening with music provided by Tall Pines, Coffinberry, Doctor Teeeth, Luxury Flats (NY). Muenz will be displaying his latest exhibit, “More Tales From The Rustbelt,” featuring Cleveland cityscapes as well as shots he’s done for Cleveland bands. The show opens at 7 with the rock to start around 10. Also Friday night,
Mobile Crime Lab USA
will be at The Symposium in Lakewood. For the veteran Cleveland rockers, you may recognize a couple members of Mobile Crime Lab USA from their days in Paranoid Lovesick. On the East side of town, a band I featured in the rock block a few months ago, Shade, is playing a show with Messe and The Peril Affair at The Beachland.

Sunday night I would be telling you to check out Neko Case at The Beachland Ballroom, but that one’s sold out. So instead, you can head over to The Grog Shop for Youth Group, Aqueduct, and The Very Knees.

Monday night at The Beachland Tavern is a show I’ve been looking forward to for a long time: The Black Angels and Vietnam. I caught The Black Angels twice in 06 and saw Vietnam open for The Lemonheads last winter. Both these bands will rock your lame a**. Needless to say, this one comes with the much sought after I Rock Cleveland Rocking Guarantee.

Tuesday night at The Grog Shop Do Make Say Think return to Cleveland. This Canadian post rock outfit last played Cleveland this past fall with Broken Social Scene. Maybe you missed it, or maybe you were there and the show was ruined by the crowd noise at HOB, either way you’ve got your second chance.

Lastly, Thursday night at The Beachland Tavern Greg Ashley from the west coast psychedelic outfit, The Gris Gris, headlines a show with Brian Straw and The Blk Tygr Memorial Choir.

I’ve told you where to rock it, and now the rest is up to you, fellow Cleveland rockers.
