“Don’t Bother Me” by The Blakes is a song about doing it for those of you who normally don’t care for songs about doing it. There’s nothing wrong about writing a song about doing it, but all too often they come off crude and juvenile, and lack any sense of subtlety. Is it wrong to want a little plot with my tune about doing it? In “Don’t Bother Me,” all our hero wants to do is it, but there’s all sorts of obstacles in his way. His frustration is voiced in the chorus, “Don’t bother me/I’m caught up in your legs/I don’t wanna get out.” I don’t know about you, but I’m rooting for my brother in rock.

The Blakes will have an ep out on Light In The Attic in the next couple months. I don’t have an exact date, but according The Blakes’ myspace, it’s pressed and ready to go.
