Cobra Verde have finally finished recording their new album, tentatively titled, Haven’t Slept All Year. It’s being mastered this week at Sterling Sound in NYC and the band are looking for an early 2008 release date. You can expect to hear some new tunes on the Cobra Verde myspace soon(ish).

The Black Keys are going to start recording the follow up to 06’s Magic Potion next week at Suma Recording Studio with Paul Hamann (James Gang, Pere Ubu, fIREHOSE). It’s worth noting here that this is the first time that The Keys are recording somewhere that isn’t a basement. (Thanks to Chris for the tip).
