Friday night at The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern, Tower Control and Radio Dystopia are presenting a ginormous show of experimental, psych, and noise rock. $5 gets you into both rooms for Neputne, Lichens (on Kranky), The Cairo Gang, We March, The X Bolex, Jerk, Catnap, Clan of The Cave Bear, Low Lamps, Druids of Huge, Giants of Gender, Theodore Vril and Rich Raponi. The bbq starts at 8, the show at 9.
All Go Signs, is also going on this weekend (starting tonight actually) at The Cleveland Public Theater featuring art and music by local artists (too many to mention) Thursday through Saturday.
Saturday night, Mass Shivers from Chicago will be at The Tower with Cleveland’s Mystery of Two…While at Touch Supper Club, This Moment in Black History are headlining a bill with Muamin Collective, STAYlooseHOLDtight, and The New SuRAH Ochestar.
Sunday night, the awesome sounds of The Budos Band invade The Beachland Ballroom. Funk, Soul, and Afrobeat doesn’t get any better than this…However, Budos Band isn’t the only ass-shaking rhythm going on Sunday night, as Professor Murder are At The B-Side Liquor Lounge.
I’ve got a couple more dates for you to check out during the work week. First up, on Monday night, The Phantom Family Halo, play The Beachland Tavern with Midnite Snake and Flat Can Co…Then on Tuesday night, HR from the legendary Bad Brains is at The Grog Shop. I’ll admit it, I’m disappointed it isn’t the full band, but I can also say that any time HR is in the building, sh*t’s going to be interesting.
Mark It Down
