Saturday night is the big night for the participants in the Cleveland Lottery League. 33 bands, whose members were chosen at random, will all perform at The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern. Who knows what’ll happen when bands such as Good News for People with Credit Problems, Dehumidifier vs Humidifier, Ghandi SS, and Snuggle Prophet take the stage? This could be the show of the year, or it may end up being a big, messy booze fest. Either way, it should be fun. The Scene, Free Times, and Plain Dealer have all done previews for this event.

Also this weekend, Bela Dubby is hosting a big night of music with Hot Cha Cha, The Dreadful Yawns, The Very Knees, and Unsparing Sea (not necessarily in that order). This one starts early, with doors at 7. Lastly, local singer songwriter Nicholas Megalis is hosting his CD release party tonight at The Beachland Tavern.
