By virtue of typing this message, The Black Keys Myspace Secret show this coming Wednesday at The Beachland Tavern is no longer a secret. Doors are at 8, but since this is a not so secret show put on by the social networking giant, on the small side of the club (capacity at 170), you’ll want to get there early as tickets are free and are available on a first come first serve basis.
In other Black Keys news, the Akron duo have just released a fresh cover of Captain Beefheart’s “I’m Glad,” and put it up for free download at Myspace. And when I say fresh, I mean fresh, as in recorded on Thursday and released on Friday.
