From Billboard.com, we have the details behind Dan Auerbach’s first solo album. The 14 track Keep it Hid, will be released February 10th on Nonesuch Records and will encompass a wider range of styles than typically found on a Black Keys release. There’ll be some blues, of course, but you can also expect to hear some British Invasion styled pop and a psych jam, or two. Guess contributors include Jessica Lea Mayfield (who appeared on the last Black Keys disc), Auerbach’s father Chuck (who gets writing credit on one song) and his uncle James Quine (on vocals and guitar). Also, Auerbach will be touring in support of Keep it Hid, with the band Hacienda serving both as the openers and his backing band. A Cleveland date is set for March 5th at the Beachland Ballroom.
