Perhaps inspired by the warm reception to their 2007 single, “Watch Us Work It,” or maybe it’s a simple matter of these times requiring a little devolution, either way, classic era Devo members Mark Mothersbaugh, Gerald Casale, Bob Casale, and Bob Mothersbaugh are all very much involved with the new album, with drummer for hire, Josh Freese taking the place behind the kits. The as-of-yet untitled disc, should be out some time this fall.
