First published on Pitchfork, and now spreading across the internet to sites big and small, comes news that the latest album from the Akron blues-rock duo, The Black Keys, will be released May 18th on Nonesuch Records. As previously reported, the bulk of the tracks which will make up Brothers, were recorded last year at the legendary Muscle Shoals Studios in Alabama and were self-produced by band members Pat Carney and Dan Auerbach. There is however, one cut which was produced by Danger Mouse, the man who was behind the controls for 2008’s Attack and Release. The full tracklist for the Keys’ sixth album is available here.
