There’s a good reason why LCD Soundsystem’s video for “Drunk Girls” is dominating your feed reader today — It’s a rare synthesis of a stupid catchy track and a stupid fun video. The song is LCD Soundsystem at their poppy, electro-punk best, crafting a 21st Century party anthem over shouts of “Drunk girls” and “Drunk boys.” While the corresponding clip, co-directed by Spike Jonze and LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, shows what happens when you invite too many inebriated and mischievous men in panda suits to your video shoot. It’s pandemonium, obviously.
