There are no guns or violence in Grinderman’s video for “Worm Tamer.” Nor is there any nudity, or disturbing imagery, or scenes where the men of Grindermen dress up as Roman soldiers and act as Roman soldiers do, as they did for the “Heathen Child” video. You, do, however get Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey, and Jim Sclavunos hunkered down in RAK Studios laying down a mean, live version of “Worm Tamer,” and, you do get to hear Nick Cave deliver the line, “My baby calls me the Loch Ness Monster/Two big humps and then I’m gone,” and that, itself, is more than enough reason to press play.
