The 2012 edition of WRUW’s long-running, free music festival, Studio-A-Rama, will have an even more distinct Cleveland flavor this year as at the top of the bill will see local buzz-band done good, Cloud Nothings, paired with the classic Clevo, post-punk band, Death of Samantha.

If you haven’t noticed, Cloud Nothings have been pretty much everywhere in 2012. They’ve done the late night circuit, the festival circuit, and played a free show at the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame earlier this summer, earning plenty of raves along the way. Death of Samantha, meanwhile, will be making their third, post-reunion performance after earlier shows at the Beachland and SXSW.

Rounding out the lineup on Saturday, September 8th at the Mather Memorial Courtyard on the campus of Case Western Reserve University will be Little Bighorn (featuring members of Coffinberry and Prisoners), The Dreadful Yawns, Herzog, Village Bicycle, Pleasure Leftists, Library Time, and Gossip Culture.

More information on Studio-A-Rama can be found at the station’s Facebook event page.
