* The benefit for local musician, and all around good guy, Ken Janssen continues to impress. To date, the crowdfunding campaign to repress an album by one of his old bands, The It*Men, has raised over 18K. Then there’s the benefit show, itself. On June 1st, The Hot Rails, Cobra Verde, The New Lou Reeds, and Charles Hill, Jr, will all do their part, too, in order to help Janssen cover medical expenses as he continues to battle ALS.
