Break for (some of) Stars. At some point, and it was an early point, I couldn’t handle this band. Maybe it had something to do with the two dudes in bro costumes (complete with flat-brimmed hats) on drums and keys. Or, maybe it was the bass player dressed like Lawrence Fishburne in The Matrix. Or, maybe it was the outsized earnestness of the whole endeavor. That was it.
