Up until 2 PM on Wednesday, September 23rd 2015, I had no use for Chris Cornell outside of Soundgarden. Then, I chanced upon this on Sirius XM Lithium:

Grunge and cello! Man, who new grunge and cello, when paired with a classic track like “Nothing Compares 2 U” could still be so potent all these years after Nirvana’s landmark MTV Unplugged performance? This is some powerful and emotional shit, here. Not only that, but Cornell’s voice sounds fresher than it has in years. And while Sinead O’Connor’s version of this Prince song may still be the definitive one, I’d let you argue on Cornell’s behalf.
